Within Accord Multi Academy Trust, each academy has an Academy Education Committee (AEC) which supports the work of the Trust and the academy. The AEC is made up of seven Trust-appointed Governors and two elected Parent Governors.
In Spring 2025, South Ossett Infants Academy entered into a shared governance model with Middlestown Primary Academy. The AEC includes representative governors from both communities. The purpose of the AEC remains to focus on challenging and supporting the quality of provision and educational outcomes for young people.
